The inaugural Fortix Volleyball Challenge was a success and we’re excited to do it all again in 2016!

It was a very hot day, but that didn’t stop brave people from great Western Australian businesses from joining us for an afternoon of fun competition on November 13th. We came to play and play we did! Not only did we have fun, but we were able to raise much needed funds for children’s charities, Sock it to Sarcoma! and Camp Quality.

A very big thank you to our Sponsors, Volunteers, and of course the participants for making it a great afternoon!

We wish to thank and recognise below organisations who have donated time, funds and or products to support this event & we’re very, very grateful!

Planning is already under way for 2016! Volleyball WA & Fortix are teaming up again to offer WA businesses a better alternative to the end of year event.

Challenge for the title of “Fortix Cup Champions” while having fun in the sun with your team, surrounded by music, food vans, beverages and team building games off the sand.

Held annually in November, summer is just around the corner! What better way to reward your team for the years hard work, than with a Friday afternoon packed full of casual competition, team activities and entertainment.

All of us at Sock it to Sarcoma! would like to congratulate everyone involved with the Fortix Volleyball Challenge, particularly Volleyball WA and Fortix for creating such a wonderful event.

It was a true privilege to be part of such an energetic and fun afternoon and have the opportunity to promote awareness of sarcoma.

The generosity of everyone involved will help us to fund vital medical research into the causes and treatment for sarcoma, a rare and aggressive primary bone and connective tissue cancer that affects far too many children, adolescents and young adults.

A heartfelt THANK YOU! to everyone in helping us to Sock it to Sarcoma!

Please note that only 4 players are on the court at any one time during the game.
